I started tattooing on June 10th, 2020 in Dallas, right after the lockdown lifted for tattoo artists. So I’ve been tattooing a little over 5 years!
It’s a bit of a trope when you post a tattoo online… “Well, let’s see what it looks like in 5, 10, 15, 20 years… then we’ll really see if you’re a good tattooist!”
Once, I was told, “without a black line around the tattoo, the ink will spill out like a pool with no shell.” That was a hoot. But who am I to say?
I’ve seen several, but not all of them come through my studio again. I’ve been mostly pleased and occasionally sad.
But as a professional,
