Over the next several years: I foresee myself as a resident artist at a growth-oriented tattoo studio, or in my own private studio building a tattoo curriculum and improving my systems as a small-business owner. I would like to be guest-spotting and expanding my library of experiences.

Ultimately, I would like to be educating people on personal wellness, leveraging my tattoo career in the best way possible for that.

About me:

Prior to tattooing, I had a very involved interest in the natural world. I hitchhiked for a few years and lived in the Northern California mountains, mostly outside. I studied permaculture, herbalism, meditation, yoga, and natural building. It has been my dream since I was 19 to live a very intentional life with healing between nature and people at the center.

Upon conceiving children, my pre-existing art skills became my best asset. I pursued art and tattooing to the best of my understanding, and fortunately got an apprenticeship with Dark Age Tattoo Studio. The long hours and very curious and forthright approach I had to each artist absolutely paid off, and I have become a very flexible designer who can pull off many styles well.

Upon leaving my apprenticeship, I was inspired to build my own way. I could not resist the spiritual urge to align my work with nature, therefore I became majorly a plant tattoo artist. I began developing my executive functioning skills, learning how to communicate more effectively, attract my ideal clientele, and create better systems for efficiency. I am still and hope to forever be on this path.

My life has gone through many ups and downs, and I am still learning about myself in relation to everything. I realize, at 4 years of tattooing, that while my art skills and comprehension are relatively good, I also have to mature in the other areas of my life to be a sustainable, positive contribution to others.

I have come to really embrace that tattooing is a wonderful platform to fulfill my other dreams, of creating healing between people and nature. Ultimately, it’s a magnetizing art that I am blessed to be able to pull off well.

Getting back up on the horse now, I have a personal business plan now that revolves around intentionality, like personal development and coaching, diagrams, and meaning. I really believe that this is the next step in my career, and I’m looking for a studio where I can grow the most in as an artist and human being.
